Hello Friends and Family,

It’s officially been a week at training camp in Gainesville, Georgia! God has been working in so many ways, and I’m excited to update you all! If you didn’t know, training camp consists of sleeping in our own tents on a campground with the rest of our squad. We also have chores such as hand-washing our laundry, cleaning the campus, including the communal showers and dining area, and washing dishes by hand. We also have the pleasure of taking occasional bucket showers, which are honestly not as bad as I thought they would be.

Beyond our daily lives, we have been well-prepared with seminars, scenarios, and team bonding. We’ve been educated on how to have a servant’s heart both outwardly and internally, as well as on God’s character and how He will guide us on our journey. We’re also being prepared for scenarios under pressure, such as dealing with lost luggage and what house visits may look like. We’ve been tested in our smaller teams within the squad with exercises like the human knot, where we have to untangle ourselves from each other’s arms. This helps us evaluate areas where we may need to improve as a team, whether that be communication or understanding each other’s boundaries.

God has been so faithful and caring in this new season of my life. To be honest, I was really anxious during my first week here. Much of this is unfamiliar to me and uncomfortable at times. Those feelings can cloud your mind with doubt and fear. However, that’s not what God intends for us, and He has compassion on us because He has made plans for each one of us. We have to trust that He will be with us through it all and have faith in His deliverance. With prayer, patience, and a gracious heart, God has opened my heart to be vulnerable and see how supportive a team I have. He answered my prayers and met me where I was. God is our home, and we need to accept His invitation to enter His peace and comfort.

I’m so excited to continue sharing and updating you all on what God will do throughout this journey. Thank you for all your prayers, and please pray for my squad that we would continue to grow together and trust in God’s plan for us!

Also, I’d like to introduce you to my team, Squad M, Red (see first picture).

Blessings to you all,
Mollie Stutzman

  1. Thanks for the informative update! It sounds like your squad is being well prepared. Thanks for sharing your feelings as well.

  2. Love all the pictures Mollie! I also love that you have exposed the fears and anxieties that the enemy has laid on you and given them over to the Lord! You have leaned into your squad and sound like you are ready to grow and take off for the Lord. So impressed Mollie girl!
